Our Activities Co-Ordinators arrange an extensive programme which all residents are encouraged to participate in. Each resident can have an input into the programme and have a say in any activity that they would like to see included.  The most enjoyed pastimes include gardening, entertainers, bingo, board games, armchair exercises, baking, arts & crafts, an afternoon at the cinema and coffee mornings.  Family and friends are actively encouraged to join in with these.  We also boast active Scrabble and Bridge clubs.

Local trips out are also organised including regular excursions to the shops, garden centre, local churches, community centres and tea dances.

All the staff at The Old Garden are carefully selected, well-trained and offer person-centred care.  There is a very high ‘staff to resident’ ratio.  A nurse is on-site at all times.
